We make play aids for children. "House of Games" Do-it-yourself multifunctional speech therapy aid

Relevance.

One of most important tasks education small child- creating conditions for the development of his mind, the formation of such thinking skills and abilities that make it easy to master new things.

Many scientists emphasize the importance preschool age For intellectual development person, since about 60% of the ability to process information is formed in children by the age of 5-6 years. However, this does not mean that one should strive to put as much knowledge, information, and information into the child’s head as possible. It is much more important to teach a preschooler to think, to develop independence, independent judgments and assessments. It is necessary not only to teach how to reproduce knowledge, but also to help find the most adequate solution, explain your choice, and establish dependencies.

Mathematical development plays a huge role in mental education and in the development of the child’s intelligence. Its study contributes to the development of memory, speech, imagination, emotions; builds persistence, patience, creative potential personality. Formation of elementary mathematical representations is a means mental development child and his cognitive abilities. However, the problem of formation and development mathematical abilities children - one of the least developed today methodological problems preschool pedagogy. The education system that has developed in kindergartens preschool institutions, is not sufficiently focused on the development of cognitive interests and intellectual skills of children in the process of studying mathematics, which leads to loss of interest, an indifferent attitude towards learning already in preschool age and negatively affects the entire course of personal development.

All this confirms the extreme relevance of the problem of finding adequate content, methods and means of mathematical development of preschool children. In the conditions of the Federal State Educational Standard for Educational Education, which offers us to modernize and optimize the learning process for students, the use of ICT has become an integral part of the educational process. The younger generation lives in the world of electronic culture and sometimes understands it better than us. Their world of play is computer games, electronic toys, and game consoles. Children perceive information through television and personal computers, which do not always carry useful information. Therefore, one of the means in the formation of mathematical concepts is the creation of understandable and relatable, at this stage of children’s development, electronic didactic and educational aids, thanks to which the child becomes not just an observer, but also an active participant in the learning process.

Target:

The purpose of my work is to use information and communication technologies when conducting didactic games and exercises to increase the level of development of mathematical abilities in children.

Tasks:

  1. Formation of cognitive actions, primary ideas about the properties and relationships of objects in the surrounding world (shape, size, quantity, number).
  2. Development of attention, memory, speech, curiosity, imagination, imaginative thinking;

In my work I use electronic manuals. I practice the use of information technology in the classroom, both in group work and in individual work with children. On a positive note is that the use of ICT is aimed at incorporating all analyzing systems into operation. Elements of visual, figurative and theoretical thinking develop. The vocabulary is actively expanding.

IN practical activities I have developed multimedia presentation notes specifically for specific lessons containing Short text, diagrams, drawings, video clips, animations.

Electronic manuals and didactic tasks for children of senior preschool age are based on the principle of self-control. The plot of the program itself tells the children whether they made the right or wrong decision. In preschool age, external reinforcement techniques are widely used: the right decision gaming tasks the child hears cheerful music, or sees a sad face if the problem is solved incorrectly. Children wait for the assessment and react emotionally to its character. They have a strong emotional positive attitude towards classes and the computer. The use of interactive equipment when teaching mathematics to older preschoolers helps to consolidate and clarify specific mathematical content, helps improve visual-effective thinking, translates it into a visual-figurative plan, and forms elementary forms. logical thinking, develops a sense of color and composition, teaches to analyze, compare, generalize objects, requires the ability to concentrate on a learning task, remember conditions, and perform them correctly. We solve problems with our favorite characters or individual scenes from fairy tales, using diagrams and photographs.

Computer math games do not impose the pace of play on children, they take into account children’s answers when creating new tasks, thereby ensuring the principle of a differentiated approach in teaching preschoolers with special cognitive needs, helping to select an individual educational route for each child, making educational process more comfortable.

Selected computer programs reflect several aspects of educational work:

  • create additional motivation for the preschooler when developing educational activities;
  • increase the number of situations that the child can solve independently;
  • individualize learning tasks;
  • use a computer to become more fully acquainted with objects and phenomena located outside own experience child;
  • simulate a virtual environment.

GCD using a computer, which I conduct with children, is not isolated from the pedagogical process. It is offered in combination with traditional games and learning, not replacing conventional games and educational activities, but complementing them, entering into their structure, enriching pedagogical process new opportunities. The use of ICT is possible both in individual lessons, subgroup and group depending on the choice educational material and submission forms.

Thanks to the multimedia method of presenting information, the following results are achieved:

  • children more easily grasp the concepts of shape, color and size;
  • the concepts of number and set are comprehended more deeply;
  • the ability to navigate on a plane and in space appears faster
  • trains attention and memory;
  • master reading and writing earlier;
  • vocabulary is actively replenished;
  • fine motor skills develop, the finest coordination of eye movements is formed.
  • the time of both simple reaction and choice reaction decreases;
  • dedication and concentration are fostered;
  • imagination develops and Creative skills;
  • elements of visual-figurative and theoretical thinking develop.

By playing computer games, a child learns to plan, build the logic of elements of specific events and ideas, and develops the ability to predict the outcome of actions. He begins to think before he acts. Objectively, all this means the beginning of mastering the fundamentals of theoretical thinking, which is important point condition for preparing children for school. In my opinion, one of the the most important characteristics computer games have an educational function. Computer games are structured in such a way that the child can receive not a single concept or a specific learning situation, but will receive a generalized idea of all similar objects or situations. Thus, he develops such important thinking operations as generalizations and classification.

Thus, in conclusion, it should be noted that it is necessary to introduce modern information technologies into the didactic system kindergarten, i.e. strive for an organic combination of traditional and computer means of developing the child’s personality. Regular use didactic electronic manuals, aimed at developing cognitive mathematical capabilities and abilities, expands the mathematical horizons of preschoolers, promotes mathematical development, improves the quality of mathematical preparedness, allows children to more confidently navigate the simplest patterns of the reality around them and more actively use mathematical knowledge in everyday life.

In our garden there was a competition “Do-it-yourself didactic developmental aids”. We work in a preparatory school group with a compensatory focus. The main task of this age (6-7 years) is to prepare children for school. When producing manuals, we decided to build on the following tasks:

Each item in the group must be functional

Benefits must correspond to the age characteristics of children

Manuals must solve problems educational program groups

Benefits should encourage children to be independent and active

Benefits must be safe, functional, and easy to handle (clean)

And also, with close interaction between teacher-parent-pupil, the following is realized: the opportunity to increase the pedagogical literacy of parents of pupils and the opportunity active participation in the production of elements by children themselves.

Preliminary work with parents of students. We, as teachers, put forward an idea, a unified concept for all manuals, and explained the need to use manuals. Consultations “Life Safety for Preschoolers”, “Development fine motor skills hands of children”, “Independence of a child 6-7 years old”, “Age characteristics of children in the preparatory group”, “Psychophysical characteristics of children in the compensatory group”, an exhibition of photographs “Developmental aids at home” was organized.

Our benefits:

Busy board we decided to make it like a board on a leg in the form of a warning road sign with attached objects that could be potentially dangerous. After all, in older preschool age, we work to form the foundations of life safety in preschoolers. Introducing children to road signs we focused on warning signs and used it as the basis of a business board, i.e. “Attention, dangerous!” We studied all the objects attached to it in the game “Good and Bad” and the children found out that these objects can be both necessary and dangerous. Considering that our children are future first-graders, and at some point they will have to be at home alone, we taught the children to take care of themselves and take care of themselves.

On one side of the board there are potentially dangerous objects (door lock, door chain, handle with built-in lock, latch, sockets, switches, PC cooler - in this case depicting the blades of a household fan, also the numbers of special services and a telephone dial).

The preliminary work was to familiarize children with potentially dangerous objects in everyday life: educational conversations, situation games with a visual demonstration of these items, training on the ability to use the telephone in extreme situation, reading fiction, staging and dramatization of excerpts from fairy tales, solving problem situations.

The other side of the board was also decorated - they decided to use this part for role-playing games.

We secured items that are used in factories, construction, fire stations, etc. (signal lamp, monometer, ammeter, voltmeter, switches, warning system). Since our city is famous as a city of gas producers and builders, children often play up the profession of a gas production operator.

Touch panel in the form of pillows. A sensory panel usually looks like a huge canvas with many details. Based on the monitoring results, we found that most children experience difficulties with such tasks as composing numbers, fastening and unbuttoning buttons/carabiners on overalls/jackets, lacing sneakers, tying cords and ribbons on a bow. Based on these results and age characteristics instead of panels, we came up with pillows.

Each pillow solves specific problems. We can overcome all difficulties using such a guide. Both beautiful and functional. The pillows themselves are made of plush, with synthetic padding inside. They can be fastened to each other with buttons in any order.

Pillow with house– it is necessary to train children in the ability to decompose a number into two smaller ones and make a larger number from two smaller ones within 10. The house is made of flannel fabric. On back side pillows, two wide pockets with sufficient numbers. The numbers are pasted on velvet paper and adhere perfectly to the flannel base of the house.

Pillow with carabiners and lacing– needed to practice using carabiners (in the future, a first-grader will have to fasten overalls on his own, school bags etc., which are equipped with carabiner fasteners) and lacing (at school the child will lace his own shoes).

Pillow with buttons and laces– it is necessary so that children can independently fasten and unbutton buttons of different sizes and tie a cord/ribbon into a bow. Pockets with buttons are sewn onto the pillow, in each pocket there are elements for fastening (we also approached this part creatively, when fastening the buttons we get “raindrops”, “bows”, “owl eyes”, “traffic lights”), also in the pockets there are other elements. The children helped cut out the elements.

On the other side of the pillow, Polina S. sewed a piece of felt and inserted laces. Children can practice tying bows (by the way, out of 18 children, only 2 are not yet very good at tying bows on shoelaces; the rest of the children learned very quickly). The details are made of felt.

Touch panel in the form of a wall painting. We made the following tutorial from the painting. Since we work on lexical topics, parents and children make crafts on the topic on the weekend. This is exactly the kind of craft we turned into a developmental guide. The result was a kind of palette. Each flower in the meadow is a certain color. Flowers are laid out in two ways. Method 1 – only flowers are laid out, of which we will get a certain color (the child finds the color that will be obtained when mixed). Method 2 – lay out flowers received when mixing colors (the child finds colors from which this color can be obtained). The flowers are made of felt, with Velcro glued on them. They are attached to the picture with Velcro.

All of these aids are functional, necessary, and add flair to the group's aesthetic. Also a huge thank you to the parents of the students for their efforts.

We hope that these developments will arouse interest and inspire other teachers to come up with original and effective aids for their students.
