Crafts in the garden on the theme "Autumn" do-it-yourself leaves

Every year, an autumn crafts competition is held in kindergartens and schools. Here you can see compositions made from a variety of natural materials. The most common crafts are made from dry leaves: three-dimensional figures, picturesque paintings, original herbariums and simple applications.

If you are looking for autumn crafts, we suggest making overlay applications from leaves.

And this is what multi-tiered images look like. Come up with an image of a craft, draw the outlines of the figure and stick the leaves on top of each other. It will turn out a bright and cheerful application.

There is another type of application - silhouette. Here, the extra parts of the leaves are cut off, giving them the intended shape by a small artist.

With the help of a modular application, paintings are obtained in the form of a mosaic. This technique is performed by gluing identical leaves. Thus, the scales or tail of the rooster are made.

Every autumn kindergartens announce contests for the best autumn crafts. Usually, nature itself suggests ideas for implementation: curved snags can be easily imagined as snakes and dragons, any men and animals can be made from acorns, chestnuts and cones, plots for applications suggest themselves from leaves. But if you have no time to fantasize, but do an autumn craft with your child with your own hands in kindergarten I want to - active mom I tried for you and created a selection of interesting ideas.

Crafts from acorns and chestnuts

Perhaps the most popular natural autumn material is acorns and chestnuts, which are in abundance in every park at this time, I don’t want to take them. And we want to! And we return from a walk, carrying packages with these treasures in our hands.

Acorns and chestnuts make excellent topiary. To make such a decorative tree, crumple the paper into a ball, wrap it with thread and cover with white napkins / paper towels. The "trunk" of the tree will be a strong, even branch, which must be wrapped with twine, ribbon or corrugated paper. Any container can be used as a pot, the main thing is that the tree stands firmly in it.

But, of course, most of all, children love to make little men, animals and birds out of acorns and chestnuts, because this is a great opportunity to smoothly transform creativity into a game.

Like these ones adorable owls are obtained from a chestnut, acorn caps, paws cut out of felt, wings, a beak and glued puppet eyes.

Matches (toothpicks), plasticine, maple and ash fruits (for wings, ears, tails) are also required as additional material. Such autumn crafts for kindergarten are easy and simple to perform even with a three-year-old child:

But not just a craft, but a real composition.

Overdoor wreaths of chestnuts and acorns look great. If the little animals seem too “childish” to you and with a preschooler from senior group I want to make not a toy, but an element of decor - this is your option. The basis of the wreath is an intertwined vine. For fastening acorns and chestnuts, Moment glue or liquid nails are used.

Candlesticks made using natural materials look stylish. Making them is very easy.

Crafts from cones

Cones are the second most popular natural material in autumn. From the cones are obtained spectacular baskets and vases to fill autumn gifts nature: apples, grapes, mushrooms, twigs with mountain ash, wild rose, sea buckthorn. To make a vase, you will need wire, fishing line, pliers.

And look how charming flowers are obtained from cones if they are painted! Admit it, you did not immediately guess that these were cones?

Well, where would a kindergarten be without a variety of bumpy animals and birds.

Autumn crafts from vegetables and fruits

In creating compositions for kindergarten, you can actively use vegetables and fruits that autumn is rich in.

The most popular vegetable for making crafts is, of course, pumpkin. From it you can make a vase for flowers or autumn leaves, a basket for vegetables.

And you can use it as a blank for creating an animal or a bird ...

... or even such a madam.

From a pumpkin, you can build such a ship:

Apples, potatoes, zucchini will be an excellent material for crafts:

Good afternoon, today we will talk about autumn crafts. And we will make these crafts from natural material with our own hands. Autumn is rich in a variety of materials. And so we will do with the most different crafts on the theme of Autumn- from leaves, branches, acorns, chestnuts, straw, moss, dried flowers and other natural material. I will show you interesting ways to create DIY autumn crafts using ordinary natural materials. unusual design way. In this article you will find fresh ideas, that will inspire you to creative exploits this fall. So let's go on a quiet hunt for ideas for the best crafts for the fall 2017 season.

Autumn natural material is rich in ideas for a variety of crafts for children. Let's see what ideas you can implement this fall.

Leaf compositions

and natural material.

Who said that autumn crafts from natural material should be done while sitting indoors. Golden autumn beckons with a warm sun, the smell of rotten leaves - and we do not want to sit in four walls. We go outside with the children to catch a little more warmth and warm our eyes with the yellow fire of autumn foliage.

Crafts on the theme of AUTUMN from natural material can be done right on the street. In my yard, next to the entrance. All you need is to find a quiet, windless place. Instruct the children to collect a stack of bright leaves and a bucket of dry pebbles.

And so it begins interesting game- laying out crafts from autumn natural material. For beginners, this can be a simple tree. Heavy pebbles press the yellow leaves, do not allow them to fly away from the wind. The craft can be saved as a souvenir in the form of a photograph.

If there is a whole pile of pebbles near the place of your walk, then you can make crafts from natural material on a larger scale (as in the photo below).

If you are observant, you may notice that under different trees foliage of different colors. If we collect yellow leaves from ash or birch in a separate bag, red leaves from aspen or Canadian maple, and a little more brown blackened leaves in another bag, then we can make such a Winnie bear cub on our porch.

Any silhouette picture can be laid out from the color mosaic of nature itself. The main thing is to find a place without strong winds. And have time to photograph this beauty before it fluttered from the wind and flew away like a bird.

The natural materials of autumn themselves will give you ideas for collages - gray branches (like the gray plumage of the wing and tail), yellow leaves (like yellow fluff on the breast). And here you are, a tit bird.

You don't have to be an artist, you don't have to have many leaves. Even from the smallest leafy heaps, you can make beautiful autumn crafts. The most simple craft with your own hands, the arrangement of foliage according to the colors of the spectrum looks like real magic.

You become little wizards. Secret dwarves-assistants of Queen Autumn. You hooligans secretly, leaving good signs, funny symbols of the autumn season.

And some crafts can be done using a tree trunk as a base. Make the tree smile. The nose is a bump, two eyes are cut from a wood chock, and a smile from the fruits of physalis, strung on a thread.

Do you know what mandalas are? In the east, mandalas are sacred patterns closed in a circle. A harmonious pattern repeating in a circle is like a map of the universe. Mandalas are drawn or laid out from mosaics, colored sand, flower petals. Mandalas are a spiritual practice that allows you to touch the divine principle within yourself. You need to make mandalas in a special state of mind - pure, serene, enlightened.

We can also make beautiful harmonious mandala patterns with our own hands in the form of handicrafts made from natural material - bright beautiful autumn.

Your autumn mandala craft can be quite small (as in the photo below).

Or very large, consisting of many circles of a cyclic pattern.

Mosaic applications

on the theme of AUTUMN.

All children love mosaics. Why don't we make it from autumn natural material.

Since the leaves are too large for mosaics (and are suitable for laying out large paintings in the yard), then for indoor small jobs we can cut the regular juicy Maple Leaf into small squares. Arrange them in bowls - yellow, green, red separately. And let the children themselves lay out a bright mosaic craft from such a pleasant-to-the-touch natural material with their own hands.

As an ornamental material, you can use cereals or seeds. A very good natural material for autumn children's crafts is yellow corn grains or large pumpkin seeds painted with gouache.

And a mosaic of whole leaves can become a crown of a tree - a simple and quick craft made from natural material, which is suitable for kindergarten children. You can stick the leaves on paper, or on a transparent office file - and then such a craft can be fixed on the window, the leaves will shine in the sun. Beautiful children's craft for younger children.

Crafts on the theme of AUTUMN.

Natural material STONE.

And here's another one wonderful idea for crafts from natural material in the autumn theme. Ordinary flat river stones can become a canvas for autumn pictures. You can paint the stones with a brush, but it is better to apply the drawing in the dots technique - round wooden sticks or special dots sticks (metal devices with a round ball at the end) are suitable for this. They are sold in the manicure department, as they are intended for painting on nails. Ball tips on dots sticks have different sizes, which allows you to draw even dots of any size.

You can also draw owls on stones - this is the simplest drawing - the main thing here expressive eyes, pointed beak, and oval wings with even rows of feathers. First, draw with paints, then outline each filled element with a contour (white, as in the left photo or black, as in the right photo below). And the contour thin stroke of the elements will make crafts-drawings more clear and expressive.

Such crafts-owls made of natural material will look good on a snag with shreds of moss, inside a wooden frame, glued to a log saw cut.

And it’s even cooler to plant such an owl inside a hole cut in a thick round saw cut of a tree trunk.

Autumn crafts

with tree branches.

Ordinary tree branches can also be a source of interesting do-it-yourself autumn collage. This natural material is lying around completely idle. On a walk, you can give the children the task of collecting beautiful, not dirty twigs in a bag, disassemble them at home, clean them of debris and break them into small pieces.

Next, on a sheet of paper, draw the outlines of a basket with handles. And either we give the child plasticine, or we arm ourselves with a glue gun and begin to collect our basket from sticks. Then it remains to put fruit in it (cut out of cardboard, draw and then cut it out, or perform it using the broken appliqué technique).

And if together with the sticks you have collected beautiful leaves, then you can make a children's craft tree from natural materials.

Long sticks found in the park can not be broken, but put aside to make them a new craft-panel made of natural materials(as in the photo below). The principle is simple. The sticks are laid in the shape of the sides of a square - we tie the junction of the sticks with twine (wire, threads). And then we decorate such a frame with natural materials and colored paper.

You can place a canvas inside the frame of branches - we tint a sheet of cardboard with paints, make holes on its sides with a hole punch - and tie the sheet with threads to the branch frame, pulling the thread through the holes and around the branch (as done in the left photo below). And then on this canvas we make an application from natural material on the theme of autumn.

Or you can simply decorate the frame around its perimeter - in the lower part of the square we attach a bush, mushrooms, pieces of moss, bark, and a cardboard hedgehog to plasticine. On upper part In our panel made of natural material, we hang a garland of autumn leaves cut out of colored paper, the sun, clouds, a kite.

From the branches you can lay out big applique in the shape of an owl , a children's craft, which is entirely made of natural material, which autumn is rich in. Branches, dry and fresh pine needles, withered fir legs. You can lay out the application on a sheet of plywood and fix everything with glue - or make a temporary mosaic on a walk right on the ground or stump.

Looks very nice craft Hedgehog from natural material . This fall craft is my favorite in this article. Let me even tell you in detail how simple and easy it is to make such a hedgehog with your own hands. It's really very easy. Now you will be convinced of it.

First, we find beautiful thick rods from a shrub or birch branches - we cut them with scissors or a knife into segments with long oblique cuts (as in the photo of a hedgehog below).

For this autumn crafts you will need plasticine - a large piece. Where to get it? I never throw away used plasticine from children's crafts, I put it in one common pile - then I soak it in hot water this multi-colored heap - it becomes soft like fresh dough, and easily and simply I knead the whole lump into a homogeneous mass with my hands - it turns out a large piece of fresh brown plasticine of excellent quality. From it you can still make a variety of crafts for a long time

From plasticine we form the body of a hedgehog- teardrop shape. And in the thick part of the hedgehog, row after row, we stick segments of branches - oblique cuts should all look in one direction.

2 ways to decorate the muzzle of a hedgehog.

1 way. I wrap the plasticine nose of the hedgehog with a piece of burlap, or a piece of gauze (bandage) soaked in a solution of iodine with water.

2 way. The muzzle of the hedgehog can be smeared with PVA glue, overlaid with pieces of paper napkins, smeared with glue again, again a layer of napkins, glue on top and allowed to dry - you get a layer of papier-mâché. We cover it with paint - draw eyes, a nose on it

Craft-spider web of branches and leaves.

And from natural material you can make beautiful decorative crafts-pendants on the theme of AUTUMN. We need straight, even branches - like a willow. We look at the photo, and below I give a detailed step by step description this children's craft.

A detailed master class on this craft made from natural material.

We take a lump of plasticine and divide it into 2 small molds. On the first cake we put the branches in a circle (that is, radially from this plasticine center) - so that the tips of the branches meet in the middle of the plasticine cake. Slightly press each branch so that it drowns in plasticine. From above we cover with a second cake of plasticine, also pressing it on the branches. It turns out a spread with rays of branches.

Now we need coarse threads - the ones that are tied up with shopping packages in the store. Such canvas-paper thick gray threads. With them, we begin to weave a cobweb between the branches - starting from the plasticine center and gradually moving towards the outer edge, until our cobweb rests against the edge of the maple leaf.

Craft autumn kaleidoscope.

Also you can do colored kaleidosk made of natural material - from branches and leaves (as in the photo below).

For this craft, we need hot glue (or the ability to weave threads between crossed branches). Now I will give detailed master class to create this DIY craft.

Step 1 We cut 4 rods of the same size. Two of them cross over cross - fasten with glue or thread. Two others cross in exactly the same way. We now have two crosses made of branches.

Step 2 We impose these 2 crosses on each other obliquely - so that they form snowflake figure. We fix the middle of this clutch with glue (or fix it with threads).

Step 3 From a flexible willow rod (fresh or soaked in water) we make a round ring. We attach this ring to our "snowflake" of rods - so that the edges of the ring are at the same distance from the center - for each rod(measure with a tape measure). If the distances are the same, then the ring will be even, not crooked.

Step 4 As a result, we got a circle from the branches, divided into triangular sectors. And it remains only to find large maple leaves of different colors - pure yellow, pure red, pure green, pure orange. From them it is necessary to cut out triangles that are suitable in size to the sector-hole on the future kaleidoscope. Cut out the triangle so that the central vein on the maple leaf passes through the middle of such a triangle- divided it in half like a bisector from geometry. And we attach all these multi-colored triangles of maple leaves to the sectors of our design made of natural material with a glue gun.

Autumn applications

From natural material.

And of course, all children love to make applications from autumn natural materials. Small and large paintings of leaves and dry flowers. The most favorite children's crafts on the theme of autumn.

The symbol of autumn made of natural material is, of course, a hedgehog. From what they just do not make it, from leaves, from flowers, from twigs, from maple or ash seeds.

The simplest hedgehog is done like this. From cardboard cut out the silhouette of a hedgehog. We give children plasticine and maple seeds. We begin to attach rows of seeds with plasticine to cardboard - you need to start from the back of the hedgehog. Children are trying to start with the muzzle - explain to them that this is not right, that then it is not convenient to make the back rows of needles when the front needles stick back and interfere.

By the same principle, a hedgehog is made from flat natural material - leaves and dried flowers. Also starting from the buttocks - we attach it to plasticine or glue. This is the most common autumn-themed children's craft.

Even children love to make autumn turkeys. Same easy bird craft, which does not require a lot of natural material. The body and head of the bird can be cut out of cardboard. Or the head and torso can be cut with scissors from the same maple leaf (as in the photo of the craft below).

YOU can do crafts not using colored paper, but by cutting out all the parts necessary for the picture from natural material, in the event that you do not find a leaf of a suitable shape.

Here's a great idea. big craft A LION. It can be made from real natural leaves. And can be done as collective craft from paper. In the kindergarten group, we distribute sheets of paper with a maple leaf painted on it. The task of the children is to cut this sheet along the contour. At the end of the lesson, all the children attach their leaves to the lion's mane. A good idea for a craft on the theme of “autumn” is for the middle group of a kindergarten, when children are in their first year of learning to cut with scissors along the contour - they will cut a maple leaf for 10 minutes, and puff with zeal like steam locomotives.

If you work in a large children's team(a kindergarten teacher or a teacher, or a circle leader), then you can make one big collective craft. For example, here is such a bird made of natural material. We cut out parts of the bird from cardboard - separately the left wing, separately the right, separately the body and separately the tail. Divide the team by 4 creative groups . Each group of children receives their part and begins to lay leaves on glue or plasticine. After the completion of the work of each team - we combine the details into one common craft bird from natural material as bright as autumn itself.

Autumn crafts-pictures

From natural material.

And of course, beautiful bright crafts-collages in the form of natural scenery. In the photo below we see how a picture-panel was made from different materials - paper, leaves, herbs.

You can dry many flower petals. And make a big collage with the children with a blue sky and a blue river. Stretch a bridge across the river, cut out of a blackened autumn leaf (for the leaf to turn black, it must be ironed with a hot iron through a newspaper).

And if you have little dry natural material, then you can paint a picture with gouache or watercolor and only individual elements lay out the landscape from leaves and herbs (as in this craft below).

Autumn crafts

from natural material.

The nature of autumn is rich in a variety of ornamental materials - hawthorn berries, rose hips, cones, fluffy moss. After a walk in the forest, you can make an elegant autumn composition with a candle. And arrange romantic dinner by candlelight in the theme of autumn.

Thick cut logs, round birch chocks and shells from walnuts- this poor natural material can become a source of inspiration for such crafts in the form of a mushroom clearing.

From the found cones, you can make a variety of characters with your own hands. And place them in the form of a single autumn composition made with your own hands from natural material (wood, leaves, moss, wood chips, etc.).

Fresh oak branches torn off by a hurricane can be dried in the shade of a shed, under a roof. oak leaves when dried, do not lose their juicy green color. And then they can participate in interesting crafts made by hand from autumn natural material.

A wreath - a symbol of autumn - made of natural material of all shades of bright foliage will delight your whole family. It is so interesting to collect leaves - to pick only the most beautiful ones. It is necessary to weave a wreath from willow twigs with your own hands and weave autumn leaves into it with threads, plant pine cones on wire or glue. We have a special training article on weaving wreaths from twigs and branches on our website -

Beautifully look in autumn wreaths bright fruit-boxes of physalis, twigs with hawthorn fruits, flowers of everlasting flowers.

But even if you do not have bright natural material for making an autumn wreath, don't be discouraged. You can do bright wreath of gray pine cones . You just need to take more gouache. Paint each cone in shades of autumn foliage. Spray with hairspray (so that the color becomes juicier and does not get your hands dirty). And then collect all this colorful splendor of autumn into a rich wreath with your own hands.

Cones in a wreath can be placed with their buttocks forward (as in the photo above), or noses forward (as in the craft below).

You can make decorative autumn wreaths from any one natural material. Only from wild rose - string red fruits on copper wire and fold it into a heart shape.

Or your fall wreath can be made from saw cut logs found in a woodpile.

In the same woodshed, you can find a natural material suitable for making an owl composition.

Your autumn compositions can look like funny little people made of birch saw cuts, decorated with various natural materials, which autumn is rich in.

And bunches of cut grass can turn into a hedgehog if you (or good neighbors) have physalis blooming profusely. Its boxes can be sewn with threads to a straw bale. Wrap the sharp edge of the bale with twine and stick on the nose and eyes.

And you can also make from natural autumn material beautiful candlestick . We'll need Bottom part from any white bottle of household liquid (washing balm, etc.).

On the table we unfold a transparent wide adhesive tape. On its sticky surface we put beautiful small leaves, seeds and other flat natural material inside out. We put so that between the elements remain empty seats sticky tape (so that there is an adhesive space).

Here are some new ideas for this fall - from natural materials. You found inspiration here. You fell in love with some crafts. And so this autumn will not pass by your skillful hands. It remains only to collect natural material, which is abundant everywhere, and, fortunately, it is free. As in that verse...

Autumn crafts

Package #1

Theme "Autumn Tree"

Trees in the STAMPING technique.

In this children's craft, everything is simple. We give the child an already drawn tree trunk and on a plate we make puddles of gouache in autumn colors (yellow, orange, red). Next, we give something to poke the leaves with. It can be an ordinary cotton swab, a toothbrush, or a dishwashing brush.

It can be any small items, which capture paint well - for example, corks from wine bottles, or cardboard toilet paper rolls.

Autumn tree from cotton pads.

And here is another chic autumn craft FROM COTTON DISKS. Soak cotton pads in water. We poke a brush on a wet disk, smeared in yellow paint, and then in red. And on a wet disk appear beautiful stains- like autumn leaves. After that, the discs need to be squeezed out of excess moisture, and dried thoroughly (let them lie down on the cabinet overnight). And in the morning you can make such a bright sunny-autumn craft.

Children will really like to color the discs first, and for tomorrow they will make such a golden autumn tree out of them.

Autumn crafts from eggshells.

You can do more interesting - take the shells from chicken eggs and soak them overnight in paint (in a solution of food coloring or gouache solution). In the morning you will receive excellent handicraft material. You can make mosaics out of it. Or spread autumn leaves on the crown of an application tree.

Autumn crafts from leaves and berries.

And here is the autumn application WOOD, made entirely of natural materials. Rowan fruits, small foliage from autumn trees. Pieces of plasticine and strokes of gouache paint. A child can do such crafts for a very long time, painstakingly laying all the details, filling in the gaps on the application with foliage and twigs.

Craft three-dimensional tree.

And here is the autumn craft in the form of a large tree. The tree trunk is drawn on cardboard - 2 times. Then we cut out these two trunks - and make vertical cuts in them (on one tree, a vertical cut in the lower part, on the second, a vertical cut in the upper half). We put the trunks on top of each other cut to cut. And we get a cruciform trunk. It remains to hang autumn foliage on the branches of crafts - these can be lumps of ornamental crepe paper(or table napkins). Can wind on ordinary white branches paper napkins(or toilet paper) and then paint it with a paint brush in autumn colors.

Autumn crafts

Package #2

From rolls.

And here voluminous craft WOOD from toilet paper rolls. Everything can be seen in the photo below. Cut three toilet paper rolls at the top. We thread from each other (so that they thread in the lower part, we make an incision and narrow the roll at the place of the incision). We cut out leaflets from paper and glue them on the tips of the slits-splitting.

And from long rolls (from paper towels) you can make autumn application tree. We cut some rolls along - into the trunk and branches. And cut the rest across for leaves.

Autumn crafts

Package #3

From leaves and improvised means.

Here is a craft made from autumn leaves in the form of a peacock. Very simple and accessible for young children. Here's how it's done...

We take an ordinary glass - turn it over and fasten a plasticine round on the back. We collect a bunch of leaves, fluff it with a fan and attach it to a plasticine lump (for strength, we print another plasticine cake on top). We cut out the beak, eyes and paws from paper - and the new autumn craft is ready. Available for preschool children.

By the same principle, peacock crafts with autumn leaves are created, walnuts and chestnuts.

From the leaves you can make an owl. This autumn craft can be voluminous - in the form of a bag stuffed with dry autumn leaves. We tie the corners of the package in the manner of ears, glue the eyes and beak, and make paws at the bottom.

You can also make owls from toilet paper rolls - we cut out the eyes from paper, and select the wings and ears among the autumn leaves right size. Simple and fast for the smallest children.

Autumn crafts

Package #4

GRAINS.

Here are some beautiful fall crafts that can entertain your kids. They will be happy to sprinkle colorful rice to create an autumn tree or a mosaic on oak leaves.

How to dye rice at home.

Pour portions of rice into plastic bags. Add a spoonful of gouache of a certain color to each bag. We tie the bag and shake the rice well until it is evenly colored. Pour the rice onto a tray and wait for it to dry. For faster distribution of paint, you can add a little water (literally one tablespoon) to the bag with rice and paint.

The most stable color comes from food coloring. Gouache can leave marks on the fingers and lose color from working with rice. If you want to keep the juiciness of the color of the autumn rice crafts, you need to spray it with hairspray - this way the paint will be preserved and stop getting dirty.

Instead of rice, you can use any other grains - including pumpkin seeds. They can also be painted in the same way as fig.

Here is a silhouette of a tree attached - you can put a sheet of paper on the monitor and circle the tree with a pencil. To reduce or enlarge the picture on the screen - rotate the mouse wheel (back and forth) while holding down the Ctrl button on your keyboard.

And here is the craft from the smallest of the cereals - MANNA. D For such a craft, we need to paint the semolina in red, orange, yellow, brown, light yellow. (By the way instead of semolina, you can use ordinary fine salt).

Pour the semolina into a wide bowl (to make it convenient to mix with your hands) and put a tablespoon of thick gouache paint on the semolina (the paint should not be liquid, but thick like toothpaste). And now, with dry hands, we rub all the grits with this paint - we mix everything and rub it evenly so that all the semolina turns into an even color.

Now you can start crafting - on a piece of paper put autumn leaves, circle them with a pencil and remove them. Next, take a ruler and draw several straight lines so that they intersect the contours of our leaves (divide them into sectors). Now we take PVA glue and a brush - we spread glue on those sectors that we will have yellow - and pour yellow semolina on them. Wait 2 minutes and Shake excess topping back into bowl.. Next, we smear with glue those sectors that we conceived as red - we pour red semolina on them. We wait 2 minutes and shake off the excess red semolina from the sheet back into the plate. And so we continue until all sectors of the picture are painted over in your color. This work is within the power of children 4 years and older. An adult will only prepare a drawing with leaves and lines. And the child will already choose which sector to smear with glue for one or another color of the sprinkle.

Also for such autumn crafts you can use large seeds- fruits of beans, beans, peas, sunflower seeds, corn kernels.

From cardboard we cut out the silhouette of the future autumn crafts - in the form of a maple or oak leaf. We apply a thick layer of PVA glue to the cardboard - and put our grain mosaic on the puddle of glue.

Autumn crafts

Package #5

PAINTS and crayons.

In this paragraph of our article, I have collected those autumn crafts that require painting work. We will work with different techniques for painting autumn leaves and you will get several ideas for a bright autumn creativity along with the children.

Relief hatching technique.

If you have wax crayons (or soft pencils or regular crayons for drawing on asphalt), then you can make these beautiful pictures from autumn leaves.

This is done very simply. We put on the table newspaper. We put on the newspaper autumn leaf- the veins on the sheet should stick out with their ribs up (that is, we put the sheet wrong side up). Above lay down a white sheet of paper and start hatch this white sheet with crayon or pencil- when hatching, we notice that the contours of the autumn leaf lying under the paper draw themselves- along with all the veins.

Painting "Autumn greetings".

Autumn waves its golden pen... Yellow palms tremble in the wind...

And let's guys make the palms of autumn. Let each of you wave your hand to autumn. We smear the hands of children with yellow, red and orange paint- so that on the hand there are different overflows of autumn colors. Then we press the child’s palm to a sheet of paper - if the print has gaps, fill them with paint with a brush.

Technique "Marble painting".

This is a very interesting technique - all children adore millet. Such autumn crafts are available for the very smallest - even those who are under 1 year old are happy to make such crafts.

We take dad's shaving foam and a flat plate. We squeeze a cloud of foam onto the plate and falsely level it on the surface of the plate. Next, we drip paint onto the foam - multi-colored drops of gouache in different places. You can drip from the tip of the brush ... or drip with a pipette ... or drip with a syringe - or cotton swabs(poke into the gouache, and then poke into the foam on the plate).

Next baby we allow selflessly to stir foam in a plate... as he wants ... children can do this indefinitely. By the way The fastest way to calm a crying baby- a cloud of foam + paint and the child forgot about everything in the world. What if your child puts everything he sees into his mouth?- then you can make edible foam - whipped cream from a can + food coloring. Or just pour a lot of salt into the foam - salty baby does not want to eat.

When the foam is kneaded with a beautiful marble pattern, we take an autumn leaf cut out of white paper or cardboard and apply it to the foam - we put it directly on top of the foam. Then we raise it - dry it and get a beautiful autumn craft. Of course, for painting it is necessary to choose colors of autumn colors (red, yellow, green, orange).

Technique "Finger painting".

This technique of autumn crafts also soothes the children. On a sheet of paper, draw the outlines of the sheets - with a black bold marker - so that it draws through the paper (so that the outlines of the sheets are also visible on the reverse side - this is convenient, since you can see how to cut them out later).

Next, in different bowls, we dilute different colors of paints - a bowl with yellow + a bowl with red + a bowl with green. In order to have more paint in each bowl of paint, we add PVA glue (ordinary white stationery) - that is, put half a teaspoon of paint + 2 teaspoons of PVA glue - stirred with a stick and got a lot of paint in the bowl. So gouache is enough for a long time. And such paint dries better and does not stain hands after drying.

And then we allow the child to directly smear the entire sheet of paper with paints with his hands - he can directly apply paint on the contours of the drawn leaves with a spoon and smear everything with his fingers and palms. Show your child that you can put different pairs of colors on different leaves (green + yellow, red + yellow, red + yellow). It's okay if the black contours of our leaves hide under thick lakes of paint (these contours are also visible on the back of the sheet - we will calmly cut them out).

Then we dry all these lakes of paint. Cut out the outlines of the leaves. And the final touch - we pierce our craft with hairspray - this will fix the paint, make it brighter and it will not stick to our hands.

Wet painting technique.

There is also great technology here. We will paint paper autumn leaves in a wet technique, which gives beautiful smooth stains of paint with a gentle transition from one color to another. We cut out the contours of leaves from paper - we lower each sheet into water - and put it so wet on the table. Now we take watercolor brushes and begin to paint our wet leaves - until they dry. When the paint gets on a wet sheet, it blurs itself into a bright cloud, mixing with neighboring spots. It is good to glue such leaves to the glass on the window - this is easy to do if you smear the back of the sheet with a wet bar of soap.

On such leaves, painted in a wet technique, you can draw veins with a marker.

Technique "Wet painting + glue".

And here interesting approach to the same technique . Here, too, the contours of the leaves are cut out of paper. And we will need silicate stationery glue (remember how in our Soviet childhood - such a transparent glue, similar to snot - it is still sold in the same bottles). Or you can cook a thick jelly from starch and water yourself (we get the same sticky substance).

So ... now with this silicate glue on our leaves (still white and dry) we draw veins (central and lateral). We pour thick threads of glue. We are waiting for the glue to dry (it is better to make these streaks in advance - in the evening, and let them lie dry at night - and in the morning proceed with the child immediately to the craft).

When the streaks of glue have dried, we immerse this sheet in water and immediately take it out. While the sheet is wet, we dip our brush in watercolor paints and poke it into one or another zone of the leaf - the paint immediately spreads over the wet cell of the sheet - but does not climb into the next cell (glue edges interfere). And it turns out a beautiful craft - an autumn leaf, which is painted in multi-colored overflows.

Such an autumn craft is available for the smallest ones - the overflows are beautiful - the paints do not climb onto neighboring cells and the sheet turns out to be RAINBOW. Children will be delighted. For kindergarten too perfect option(I myself work as a kindergarten teacher, and I can’t wait for the topic of autumn crafts to start).

And you can also make crafts with live autumn leaves with the same silicate glue. Spread glue paths along the contours of the veins of the sheet and sprinkle with small sparkles on top (you can buy glitter powder for nails if you did not find sparkles for children's creativity on sale.

And also the cells of the sheet between the veins can be painted in different colors.

DIY stained glass windows

We all tried to make stained-glass windows on the windows - we bought special children's paints that create rubber film-pictures when cured. They are easy to remove from the window and stick again to another place. But not many of us know that you can make stained glass windows - for FREE, without spending money on expensive bottles.

HOW TO MAKE STAINED GLASS PAINT with your own hands.

We take regular glue PVA (white one in a bottle) and add food coloring to it (the one with which we paint eggs for Easter).

Now we take a file (an ordinary office file) and draw our autumn craft picture (maple leaf, owl, tree) on it. If you don’t know how to draw yourself, you can put a picture copied from the Internet inside the file and draw on top of it with our stained glass paints.

We leave to dry all the beauty for the whole night. And the next day, picking up the edge of the adhesive pattern with a fingernail, remove it like a film and transfer it to window glass- we apply the smooth side to the glass (the one with which it lay on the file) and the picture itself sticks, holds). Autumn sticky crafts can be peeled off and stuck again several times.

You can make stained-glass windows on the windows of colored paper. Cut out any shapes (leaves, trees, animals) and glue them with soap to the glass (we lather the back side of the part with a wet bar of soap and press it against the glass).

CANDLES (wax and paraffin) .

Here is another one of my favorite techniques. All children adore her - even a child of 1 year old can make such a craft.

We will need a piece of candle (paraffin or wax). A white wax crayon from a set may work.

On a white sheet of paper, draw the contours of the leaves with a candle (so that you yourself see what you are drawing, it is better to first draw these contours with weak pencil lines - and then circle them with a candle).

Next, we give the child paint (watercolor or gouache diluted with water) and this sheet with leaves painted with paraffin. The child does not see the leaves (they are colorless), he sees Blank sheet paper. And you tell him that a picture is hiding here - and in order to find it, you need to decorate the entire sheet. The child begins to paint the paper - and the contours of candle leaves appear through the paint. Wax repels paint and it does not stick in this place - therefore, white outlines of sheets remain.

You can paint over with a candle not only the contours, but also wipe the entire silhouette of the leaf as a whole (leaving only the central vein of the leaf). Then you can splash colorful blots of autumn colors on the picture - and as a result, the white silhouettes of autumn leaves (for example, oak) will clearly appear on the craft. Such an autumn craft will delight children of any age - it can be saved by placing it in a frame.

Leaf Preservation Technique.

And here is another technique using candle wax or paraffin. Here we will preserve the leaves - so that their juicy color and elasticity are preserved for a long time. It is known that wax was used in ancient times to preserve the deceased kings, wooden statues for all eternity. In the same way, with the help of wax, we can immortalize autumn leaves - give them a long historical life - and at the same time arrange them in an interesting autumn craft (I will show examples below).

We collect the most beautiful autumn leaves - elastic in shape and bright in color. We cut an ordinary candle into a saucepan (wax or paraffin does not matter). And on a slow fire, we begin to melt these candles - to a liquid state (we don’t bring it to a boil - why do we need gurgling bubbles). Next, each leaf is dipped in paraffin and taken out to dry. You can immediately tie a thread to the leaf and, removing it from the paraffin, tie it on a stretched rope - or on a twig (put a birch branch in a vase and tie leaves on it).

be careful wax leaves greasy stains on clothes(they do not wash well - it is better to scrape them off in a frozen form, that is, keep the clothes in the freezer and then scrape off the wax, and rub the stain, if there is a trace, rub it with a cotton swab dipped in cologne.)

Such waxed leaves can be decorated in an autumn wreath.

- or make a craft-panel, as in the right photo below - we paste leaves in the shape of a huge maple leaf on a plywood sheet.

And from such leaves pickled in wax you can make original craft with birds.

We need a round saw cut of a tree(or a thicker round cutting board). If it was a saw, then it didn’t hurt to prepare it (sand and varnish), although it’s not necessary.

In this round cut - we drill 2 holes. We bend a tight thick metal wire into a ring and insert its ends through the holes in the board. After inserting the ends, we spread them to the sides (letter G) - so that they do not pop out of the hole. And here we have another problem.- the ends of the wire sticking out of the bottom prevent the board from standing exactly on the table surface. Therefore, we take a drill again ... and on the bottom surface of the board, next to the holes (in the direction where we have 2 ends of the wire bent) drill - gouge grooves(of such depth that our tails of wire lay in them) - in this way the wire tails will go deep into the board - and will not stick out, prevent the board from lying flat on the table.

And when the frame is ready, you can start decorating it. Tie with paraffin leaves and bunches of mountain ash. Rowan can also be waxed in hot wax. Birds can be molded from plasticine or wax and decorated with gouache. In order for the gouache to hold well on the plasticine, it must then be sprayed with hairspray when the bird is completely painted.

Technique "Lamination of leaves"

And here is another way to perpetuate the leaves - LAMINATION. If you have a laminating machine, then you will do everything in a fast, lazy way. And for those who do not have it (and most of us), an iron and ordinary transparent files for the office will help.

We buy dense files (we choose thicker ones) - we put a leaf in the file - On the table a newspaper - on the newspaper a file with autumn leaves - and on top again the newspaper. And we make such a sandwich with an iron - the leaves are sealed and they can be used in a children's game - or as Toolkit in the classroom in kindergarten.

DOUGH.

LIQUID TEST TECHNIQUE.

In the store we buy pancake flour (pancake mix), add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of fine salt, add water to make a batter. We paint pancake paint with gouache or food coloring.

DENSE PAINT RECIPE No. 2 (also on flour)

In one glass of flour, add a tablespoon of salt + one teaspoon sunflower oil+ half a glass of water. And gouache (or food coloring). We mix all this in a blender until the mixture for autumn crafts becomes thick like sour cream.
DENSE PAINT RECIPE #3 (on foam)

Shaving cream + gouache + pva glue (if too liquid, add a little flour if desired) and we get a wonderful mixture for children's creativity in the autumn theme. Stir foam of different colors in bowls. We make more brown foam. Yellow, green, red, orange equally and in smaller bowls. Foam can be smeared with a brush. Or type in an ordinary children's syringe (in any pharmacy, these syringes cost a small penny). You can buy several at once so as not to wash them when you change color - and each syringe is a separate color.

Technique of TIGHT DOUGH for crafts.

Here, too, there are two recipes for craft dough. The first recipe (salt dough) will be hard, but over time it may begin to crumble, crumble. The second recipe (cold porcelain) - creates durable crafts that cannot be broken or crumbled.

Both recipes are easy to make at home.

RECIPE #1 - SALT DOUGH.

1 cup water, 1 cup salt, 2 cups flour. Knead everything to a state of tight plasticine. Roll out with a rolling pin or smooth bottle.

You can immediately make a hole in the crafted leaves and then hang them on a thread on a bare tree branch.

RECIPE #1 - PORCELAIN DOUGH

1 st. mix ordinary soda with 0.5 tbsp. corn starch. Pour 3/4 tbsp cold water. And mix everything until a homogeneous thick mass. We put the pot with the mixture over medium heat - cook constantly stirring with a spoon until the mixture looks like mashed potatoes. The main thing is not to allow it to cook to a sticky, ruminant state. Remove from heat and leave on the table to cool. Knead the cooled dough until it becomes soft, elastic and stops sticking to your hands.

You can color porcelain dough in advance - even before cooking with ordinary food coloring. Or you can sculpt autumn crafts from white porcelain dough and then paint it with gouache or acrylic paints for creativity. So that the paint of the craft does not stain your hands, you can varnish it (regular for hair or acrylic, for creativity).

Such porcelain leaves can be put in a round bowl - gently pressing down with your hand so that they take round shape bowls. And dry it in this form - we will get elegant coaster plates - cute autumn crafts-gifts.

You can roll dried herbarium elements into porcelain or salt dough. And make such a suspension test.

First, we will process the foliage with an iron (but not very hot and through a thick layer of napkins, otherwise the herbarium will turn black from the heat of the iron). Then we put a flat flower or branch on a piece of dough and begin to gently roll it up.

And then we squeeze round glasses with a plant into round glasses and make holes for the ropes
